Default Idaho 4-Banger 400

Hi All,

We here in the TVMAFCA group will be starting a 400 mile tour (The 4-Banger 400) through the mountains of Central Idaho starting Saturday AM and ending Sunday PM. We will do a leisurely 200 miles / day and will be accompanied by a number of speedsters as well. We will be going through dirt roads and mountain passes, from elevations of 2600 ft to around 8700 ft. Should be a nice tour, except for the fact that we are expecting triple digit temperatures over the weekend

Rules are it has to be a flathead 4 cylinder to join the tour.. And it is a tour, not a race, so should be fun for everyone

If I do not melt, I will post pictures of the tour on Monday

Hoping to make this a annual event if it goes well and will look to see if others want to join in on our little tour..

Best Regards,

Dave in Boise

Would your tour happen to have come through Thompson Falls, MT on Father's Day, 2012?

I was visiting my son and a long line of A's came down the Main (and only) drag in TF.

We had been to the big rally, show, and auction in Coeur de'Alene on Friday/Saturday.

No, but I'd bet that was the Big Sky A's who are loosely based in Missoula. Years ago I used to go through t-Falls every week as a delivery driver.. Great little town
