Default 8BA crank in a 40-41 block

I have a 40-41 block I want to put an 8BA crank into. The original crank has 2 slingers that go into the aluminum filler blocks, one in the block and one in the rear cap. Will the rear seal retainer from a 59AB fit the block? And what do you use for a rope seal retainer for the 40-41 main cap? I know somebidy has them. I have the 59AB retainer for the block, but does the one for the cap come from some engine? Thanks Walt
