Just wondering wow wide a straight Windsheild 30-31 FORDOR Rear door is?

Depends on which body, the Briggs and Murrays are not the same. The Murray is 28 3/16".

Thanks guess the medium width people liked the Slant Window Fordor at 27 1/2 inches. Bob

I took an original window from my Briggs Town Sedan and measured 22 1/8". I'd recommend another 1/16" longer. As I recall, the glass was very sloppy in the track. Make up a "pane" from masonite or sheet plastic to the dimension and check the fit.
My book, "Model A Ford Restoration Handbook" By Gordon Hopper gives the thickness as Triplex glass .180-.200 and plate glass as 5/32 and 9/32. I assume that the 5/32 is the thickness of the quarter windows and the rear window and the 9/32 as the thick ness of the door windows. Good Luck!

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. The full width of my doors is 26 3/4".
