Default Paint codes for 1940 Dlx dash

Can anyone help with accurate paint codes and the manufacturer for the two colors of a 1940 Dlx dash? I did a forum search but only found spray cans someone used. Thank You

Do the paint codes for a 75 year old source have any translation to current paint formulation? Hard enough to get something to match from a twenty year old acrylic. Good Luck: Fred A

I have a restoration manual that lists the information in modern formulas. I'll post it later today. I have not used the information so I can't say how accurate it is from experience.

According to "The 1940 Ford Book: A Compendium of Current Restoration Practices" by The Early Ford V8 Club of America Monaida Maroon and Rose Sand Metallic are correct for a 40 deluxe dash. The 1977 Cadillac color Madeira maroon (#79) is equivalent to Monaida Maroon. The book does not mention a match for the sand rose metallic.
The Dupont (now Axalta) Centari Acrylic Enamel number for Madeira Maroon is 44731AH
