Default '38 Cowl Vent

I'm in the process of putting my '38 Tonner cab back together after finally having gotten it back from the painter. The problem is that I now realize I did not have all of the parts for the cowl vent before I took the truck apart 1 1/2 years ago. What I'm missing is the lever mechanism for moving the vent, and I'm not exactly certain what I'm looking for. I have the vent-deflector and the pivot or hinge plate which is attached to the dash. The lever mechanism would appear to mount to the fire wall by means of a horizontal plate and to the hinge plate at the center perpendicular protrusion. I'm attaching pictures. I located a mechanism (3rd picture, unpainted metal) which I suspect could be what I'm looking for. Is this the correct lever mechanism? Or, am I looking for something else? I'd appreciate input and direction.
Thank you... Bob

That looks about right. There should be a knob on the arm but you should be able to get a repop for it if needed. Here's the one in my '38 1/2T.

Bob, I had a thread on 6-6-15 that had a lot of good cowl vent info from several 38-39 vehicles with some good pictures that may help you.

Both Bruce and Bill had some good input on that June thread. Scott
