Well, I can see it has a non-original peach basket for the hubcaps. Proper basket should have zink rather than cad plate on handles, bass wood slats from the roof scrap at station wagon plant. That one just won't do.

Cultivate an acquaintance with streetrodders...they are the last great supply of original Ford detail as they replace all that stuff with catalog aluminun knobs and dashboards that look like highway guard rail with lawn tractor gauges!

Does anyone have any idea what this seat is from?

Zach,

That car is absolutely perfect! Repair only what is absolutely necessary, fake the patina where you have to, and call it done.

The door and drip rails have to be addressed but it would be a shame to monkey with ANY of it that you don't have to.

It's perfect!

Still looking for a bunch of parts (add in the wanted section)

35fordtn was nice enough to bring me a lock cylinder and pair of radiator hoses to Hershey
Bruce Lancaster loaned me a few books...
and I found a few odds and ends including a nice Sun Dsitributor machine

I found a total of 6 '38 Lincoln caps...
Since the tires were going flat... i bolted on some wheels with old 6.50 whitewalls, trim rings and the lincoln caps

sort of looks like a farmer going to the ball.... a bit inappropriate to have whitewalls on a work vehicle...

Should be purchasing a set of nice new 6.50 blackwalls soon from a friend..
Lincoln caps may stay though!

I think the Hub caps and whitewalls are appropriate for the Sedan Delivery. It's one sharp looking vehicle.
