Default fan belts 32-36

Last time I went thru this, bought script belts from Mac's and they did not fit. I finally bought a lawnmower belt at Walmart for the 32 with a later small gen pulley. This time I needed one for a stock 34, some vendors books say 55" but that would not work nor would a 56, it took a 57" that fit right. Got it from Rural King as a lawn mower and industrial belt for $5.99. The Walmart belt on my 32 is several years old and thousands of miles. Just wondered what others are doing for belts and what length they are using.

Good chart Don. The B54 belt is what someone had told me about 5 yrs ago. I just couldn't remember to reply to Jim until you jogged my memory with your post.

A lot depends on what pulley you have on water pumps, generator, and generator mount on intake/ height of intake.

Take the belt off, then measure around the pulleys with tape or rope. Take tape/rope/old belt down to parts place and get a rope the same length and width. Forget about numbers until you know you have all correct size pulleys, etc. My 2¢.

If you want a belt length, take an old belt, any size. Cut it, measure length...
Put it around pulleys, etc. Measure the gap- or overlap- of the cut belt.

Easy way to get around the pulleys. It's still awkward.
