Default Barn find Fords

I will soon have pictures to post of a rare barn find. A 1947 Ford Woodie and a 1947 Ford Sportsman. Have sat untouched for years. Both need restoring, the Woodie is better than the Sportsman. Both Kansas cars, no rot. I am working with the owner to offer them for sale. More info hopefully soon on this forum and others.

C'mon... You guy's are harsh... Let's start the bidding... I'll go $1,500.00 for the pair, sight unseen, but that includes delivery to Florida...

Doubting Thomas everyone of you....I know the barn, seen the cars and know the owner.

His name is Jay Leno and he won't sell.

OOPS. They are real, look more like 'body shop' finds not barn finds.

Two very nice and rare cars. I hope someone brings them back to life.

With the first seven sarcastic replies, I doubt if fasi will post any additional info on these cars here on Fordbarn. BTW, for those who made those posts, there is a delete function by which you could remove them.

Something looks off about the sportsman. Its a shame that rare find pics are seldom in sufficient detail or light to determine real condition or value.

I think some apologies are needed. These kind of responses will not help to bring in new members.

Green50, $2000 won't buy the rain gutters for a '41 thru '48 Ford station wagon! Last pair I saw in the Woodie Times was for $4000.
