Default Seasonal Texas Beer - Model A Sport Coupe/Cabriolet on the label!!

There is a local Dallas/Ft. Worth brewery that has just come out with a seasonal beer (July and August, 2011 only) that has a Model A cabriolet on the label. It's a strong-ish (7.25% alc.) German style top fermenting beer. Supposedly a bit bitter, but still drinkable.

Planning on going out in the Cabby soon to pick up a case! Thought you might enjoy seeing the bottle!

Looks to be right-hand-drive, judging by taillight and license plate--but don't they drive on the right in
Germany?

I'm not a fan of bitter ales, but I'd still buy a case if I could. Great fun!!

Looks like a great reason to knock down one or two cold ones.

Sure is a nice looking beer label, but how are you so sure that the car is a Cabriolet and not a Sport Coupe?

I think you've got me on the size of the rear window that it's a sport coupe, and I don't disagree. Hey. Sport Coupe owners can embrace this one as well!

.......But there is no visor!!!
(and I own a cabriolet, so on the shelf in my garage, it's a cabriolet. haha )

Looking at the door window frame I also make it a Sport Coupe. A couple bottles would still look great in my bar liquor cabinet. Go with the Ford sign and the Old Cars Beer cans.

Keep my dash plaques there also.

You need a place for the car related stuff when the garage is full.

It's 1977 ALL OVER AGAIN, but anyway, I have to make a run up to Conyers on Monday to pick up a load of manure, so bootleg your own Texas only beer!

Jason, can you send a case up here? I'm a fan of full bodied Ales.

These early editions are sure to be collector's items once the label printer corrects the whitewall tire error.

I loved that movie in '77.
should watch it again, but I'm afraid it might not be nearly as much fun now.

It's just as good. I bought an enhanced disc, and Encore plays it monthly.

I'd like to try a movie night at the Jonathan Creek cabin with some bootleg Gravel Road beer or Heinzelmännchen Brewery from Sylva. Coors Banquet would also work well.

I would really know your heart was in it, if the luggage rack had a case or two on it. Of course, with the heat and all, you would need someone in the rumble to keep an umbrella over it.

Are the fire hydrants, where you're at, whistling for the dogs to come over and cool them off?

Where did you find those, Jason? I'm going to try and forget the world this weekend and those look like a fine way to do it.

The picture could have been inverted which would make it look like it is RHD. I've seen that happen when the graphics didn't fit exactly right with the picture.

Any place that sells Rahr beer. It's from Ft. Worth. I would try the Whole Foods/Market Street/or beer and wine stores. I got mine at a local specialty beer and wine store.

Oh, and I think it's only available July and August. Once it's gone, it's gone.
