but that link is for a pickup, very different firewall than a passenger car.

Years ago had a 34 cabro with an 8ba engine. Don't recall firewall or fan issues.

The 59 ab style engine in the 33-34 ford is a much easier swap,(a bolt in swap)

Hey Ron,
Long time no talk to. You can install an 8BA block, as Quickchange said, but not using the 8BA distributor. You'll have to convert it to an earlier (like 59AB) camshaft, timing gears and distributor. Randy in Austin |
