Jim,
Thought you might be in upper Michigan at the national show in Marquette. If you are, what is your schedule. We have another A to be striped, but it won't be ready for about 3 weeks or so. Bob

Yes, Jim B will be in Marquette, when I spoke to him on Thursday he didn't have a swap space or a plan yet but he will be striping. If you have his number, give him a ring, if not, I can pass a message on to him as he doesn't travel with a laptop so he can't check in here.

![]() ![]() Here is a touch of Jim's handy work, showing how he painted the flag and tire stripe. I wish I'd have taken a picture of the monograms he painted on Mark Maron's 31. Hard to imagine how anyone can do that! I knew Jim Brand was going to be at Oshkosh so I brought along the new seat I had to make to replace my broken seat in my 1959 Crestliner. I had it all done except the pinstripe. I also had just found a 1955 Evinrude toy outboard on Craigslist, but it had some paint chips in the white. Jim did a perfect color match and painted them in. |
