Default What do these hubcaps fit?

I believe these hubcaps are around 1939.

I do not need them and they are very good shape, just a few minor dings- not really dents from what I can see. They would be very presentable if polished out.

I need a bit of help cause I know very little about the V8 parts. These are way to new for me.

I am looking to ID them and come up with a reasonable value to sell them.

Thanks.

Right about time.I think they are for 38 and 39 standard cars and pickup. Don't know value for ones in great shape,I pay $5.00 to $10.00 for beat up ones I've found at swap meets.Would be interested in these to complete set for my pickup if they are for sale.Gary

They are '38 DeLuxe. The '39 DeLuxe is altogether different, and Standards of both years have a smaller stainless.

They are 38 deluxe because of the diameter of the stainless center cap. The standard hubcap has a much smaller center stainless piece and was used on 38 standard cars and 39 pickup trucks. Interesting side note on the 38 deluxe caps as they were used on the Marmon Herrington four wheel drive chassis at least as late as 1940 because of the large center section providing clearance for the hubs on the wide five wheels. I know, I know that Ford was supposed to go to the 5 on 5 and 1/2 wheels in 1940, but I've seen original 1940 Marmon Herrington four wheel drive vehicles with these 38 deluxe caps on wide five rims. One was a Woodie and the other a pickup. Toby

1938 DeLuxe caps look different the example in the original post. I lent my 1938-1939 EFV-8C/A Reference Book so I can't refer to it.

Egg on my face.... This is an aftermarket hubcap. I hadn't noticed the exact style difference in the V8 until Seth nailed it in the other post on hubcaps. Good catch, Seth!
