FWIW, a regular Model-A frame in stock configuration will not work with that body. In single-seat configuration, the rails are narrowed (to the width of the flywheel housing itself) and the clutch pedal is modified where you push it downward vertically to disengage the clutch. The steering is also modified for center-steer, ...usually using a modified Franklin box which was a Ross gearbox.

You might want to look at Will Cronkrite's website to see how he is building a tandem two-seater speedster.

Thank you Ronn, we will try! This weekend we are racing in Gastonia, NC at the King of Carolinas race in our 'single-seater'!

Saw this rig on the hamb the other day. Not sure the owner or the story. But what a setup!

On the HAMB...search the "Race of Gentlemen" and dig through the photos. There are several interesting single seaters in there. Four cylinder T-A-B Fords essentially had there own class on the beach, and there were some engines worth looking over too!

That #29 is a very nice looking car, note the rear suspention, that looks like something from @1912-15, and non Ford. Sad thing with cars like this is the fact that many nicely built current builds with a good faux petina make you wonder if the cars are real or recent builds. Bob
