Way back there, the Winfield carbs were popular and they were put on all sorts of home made manifolds.
Hold on to your wallet for 3 81s.

I, as you no doubt know, am a great fan of pump in head 21 studders, and have collected a few different pictures of various set-ups of these fabulous engines. I run a different setup on mine; a super dual carb manifold [Fenton] and a shortened generator setup with a pulley at the back which drives an alternator bracketed off of the right hand head. This allows me to run stock fan, and the other alternator belt tucks in behind the top hose and across to the alt. Run stock 35 aircleaners on it too.
Brian , I love your setup , aircleaners look awesome to , typical Kiwi ingenuity here !!!

Any older speed goodies for a 21 stud engines will empty your wallet! Can you imagine finding three good Winfield SR carbs. When they ran the old V8 60 engines back in the day, they used up a lot of the old Stromberg 81 carbs but they are still out there.

So I ended up just buying a dual carb set up from speedway and but the looks of it should clear the generator. Super excited to get the new 94's in and put them scoops on. I'll post a few photos once it's all installed. Hopefully next weekend I'll get it done.
