35 - 5 Window Door glass retainer alignment
Guys,
When installing door glass into the window retainers, how do I make sure the glass is positoned correctly in the retainer from front to back. What I mean, is the centerline of the glass even with the mid point of the retainer? I've never had glass in this car. Thank you, Peder |

The side window glass in my '36 3-window was exactly centered in the retainer (i.e. center line of the glass was in line with the center line of the retainer), if that helps.

Re: 35 - 5 Window Door glass retainer alignment
I don't believe the 3W coupe has the vent feature that rolls the window back and then when you move forward and continue the window goes down same for a Fordor front window.
The original glass I have is 27" long on the bottom and the track is 21-1/4" long. From the front of the glass it is 2-3/4" and the back it is 7/8". Hope this helps. |
