That's definitely an improvement over the original engine. A fellow here has Crosleys and brought a bare engine block to a friends shop, I could pick it up with one hand.

Wow, that is small! But it's got to be slot easier to install than an 10 speed in a Kenworth.
I'm doing one of those right now. |

Re: Crossley with a v8 60
When I was in the 9th grade, (1948) a classmate had a Crosley station wagon. The towns only large gym was at the Jr High School. On many occausions four of us would carry the Crosley up the stairs of the main entry to the gym while a basket ball game was underway. We would place the Chosley cross-wise in front of the doors.
Great fun, nobody could get out of the gym, except via a single file out of small emergency side exits. My classmate finally got smart, he would chain the Crosley to a tree...

Re: Crossley with a v8 60
When I was working as a Shift Sergeant 25 yrs back when it was quiet on a Sunday night shift we tried to get get a Mini ( the early BMC type)that belonged to one of the "new boys" through the front doors and into the foyer of the old Wellington Central Police Station. We couldn't get it to fit so we lifted up on to the top portion of the terraced area of Midland Park which was directly next door. The "new boy" who is now a Detective Senior Sergeant and I still have a laugh about this. The fun you have with a small car.

Re: Crossley with a v8 60
Hi Everyone, I've gotta wonder how this works as an actual driving vehicle? Reminds me of this...
