For sale is a good 8BA/8RT starter plate that came off an F1 pickup. It was designed to be used with the rear sump truck oil pans, but will work with other pans as well if used with a cast or stamped bellhousing ring. One of the pieces you'll need for adapting a T5 to your flattie. Just needs a little cleaning and paint and it's ready to go. Price is $25 plus shipping.
