Re: A front crossmember riveting question
Ward,
In the October 1, 1929 Part's Price List, there is a listing for "Frame Rivets". One of the rivets used on the frame was a "1/4 x 7/8 Countersunk Head Rivet". Would this also be refered to as a Flat Head Rivet? If so, there is your answer...Maybe???? HOWEVER...in the October 20, 1930 and the July 1, 1931 PPL, it is not listed...All round or button head rivets. By the way...what is the difference between a "round head" and "button head" rivet? Re: A front crossmember riveting question
I wonder if the old button head is now the universal head?
