Default Perch A3032B

Hi,
I have a pair of Model A FORD "script" spring perches. They are also marked A3032B. My Parts Price List only lists the front spring perch as A-3030. Does anyone have any information about this difference? Thanks.

I can't comment on your specific question but the casting/forging would frequently carry a part number that would be cast/forged into the part. After the part was machined or made into a higher assembly a new number was assigned leaving the old number visible on the part.

A-3032 = Forged spring perch
A-3034 = Spring Perch bushing
A-3030 = Spring perch assembly (A-3032 + A-3034)

Thanks a lot, Marco. I couldn't find it in my reprint of a 1931 price list.
Regards.

Ford didn't sell the perch without the bushing installed (A-3032) so it was not in the parts books.
