Default Method for cc syringe measurement?

I have a graduated 100cc syringe; when it's full with no air bubbles the nozzle of the syringe is also full, the amount in the nozzle is about 1.75cc, is this already figured in the 100cc's marked on the cylinder? I started with 100cc's and end with 34-35 cc's left. Do I need to factor the 1.75 cc's in when taking a cc measurement?

Google Wikipedia 'Burette'. Good info!

If the "100" measurement is closest to the plunger, it includes the needle bore volume.
