Default '42 to 50? pickup, quick and easy measurement please?

I need the measurement of the gap where my screwdriver is pointed (stake pocket and rollpan), I'm putting together a different bed...as you can see...tough to tell there

Assume both sides are the same?

Thanks.

As little as possible. I did one that pulled together nice and tight. Next build of the same box after I was rear-ended, I could only get within 1/8". At that point I said good enough. They should be close - and yes both sides.
