Talking HELP Need my spare of my 36 cope

O K when trying to get spare tire off my 36 coupe Pushed in on lock and tried to turn right but to no avail..Also tried turning left ..Seems the tumbler turns a wee bit maybe 1/16 to 1/8..Can hear something maybe hitting down in there but??Does the little cap that is about 5 inches round come off before trying to unlock??The main cap hinges down to expose the smaller cap that surrounds the lock it self..Help guys

No help here . Same problem I had . You will have to put your thinking cap on for this one. Mine was a standard coupe and it took a while . I took my mount off and cut a small hole in the back of the mount so I could access the lock from behind . Used a couple of screwdrivers to push the ears together and the lock was out . Welded the piece back in and done . Forgot that you need to buy A Nos LOCK FROM JOHN McClure and your good to go .
