Default Glass Channel Replacement On '47 Convt.

I need to replace the window glass channels and the "cat whiskers" on my '47 convertible. Any tricks, suggestions, or general how-to information on the subject? Any suggestions on a reliable source? Thanks.

Try Restoration Specialties and Supply in PA. When I was putting together my 48, they had the correct fitting channel strips. 814-467-9842. They may have the cat whiskers too.

I replaced a set of whiskers a few years ago. I put some black weather stip adhesive on the garnish and then used a bit of wire from my mig welder and used it to replace the staples. I clamped them together overnight. The black goo held like a vise along with the wire.
