Default sport coupe top

Is there anything in print re. Model A sport coupe top construction. Specifically, the fit of the front header. I'm working on a late 31 that has had most of the wood professionally replaced by someone else and the header seems about 1'4" too tall.

The Restorer Magazine [ Volume 15 Issue 2] July -Aug. 1970 . No construction numbers but alot of info. on 30/31 Sport coupes. I know when doing my Phaeton, and the repro header was [way off from original size] TOOO thick, wide and front radius was well off. As Marco said to me they make it like a 2 X 4 piece of wood. I found a original header [front bow] and sanded the repro board down. It was well off from original.

If anyone has vol 15, issue 2 of the Restorer, I sure would like to have a copy of that article on 30-31 sport coupes.

Glenn , if this is any help the #2 roof Bow Detail: from point[leading edge] to "under" #2 bow should be 18 inches tall. I restored a early 1930 Sport coupe. At that time [1982] LB's had a 2 tone gray T-14 top material which looked better then the top material on open cars[Tan]. [More correct looking was the gray].

What size do you have for the front header? I have a Very Late 31 Sports coupe that I'm doing right now.
