Default 2015 MARC National Meet

On the MARC website it shows that the national meet next summer will be in Niagra Falls, New York.

I thought that they were going to do French Lick back to back.

Heck, my wife even said that she would like to go.

Is there any more information on this change?

So French Lick 2014, Niagra Falls 2015?

Dean,
There was thead here on Fordbarn about 2 or 3 months ago that mentioned the change in sites for the 2015 meet. I, like you, would like to have seen it stay a French Lick in 2015, but I guess the honchos at MARC decide to change the venue for some reason. See you and your phaeton at French Lick next month (unless MARC decides to change the 2014 venue - ha).

Dean YES I made a ford barn posting about a month ago on this. They have along with Rex Hingle and the folks in French Lick decided to change 2015.. It will be in Niagara Falls next year and we will return to French Lick sometime in the future. Here is the flyer that was sent out......

Rusty, it is not that I necessarily would like to have had it stay in French Lick for 2015. Basically it caught me by surprise. I guess I should be a more regular visitor to Fordbarn.

With my warped mind when I hear Niagara Falls I think of Curly from the Three Stooges...'Slowly I turned step by step, inch by inch...'.

Thanks for the website, SGT in Ont. Perfect venue for a National Meet. Have you sorted out details like trailer parking?

Trailer parking will be at the Gale Center (4 pad ice rink) where the car judging will be held. Lots of room for trailers.

If you are planning to attend this meet, might be a good idea to make sure you bring a passport. You just can't go to Niagra Falls and not go over to the Canadian side!

Del,
The meet is in CANADA!

You must have a current passport to enter Canada and return to USA. My insurance company advises you should take a copy of your coverages page in case the police ask for it, but show it to NO ONE ELSE.

Just visited Niagara Falls, ONT and NY last month. Enjoy the meet in 2015.

i am guessing there will be no kind of flea market for Model "A'' parts ? ...A CURRENT passport to enter Canada... Maybe the meet should be in Mexico I had problems coming back from Canada into the U.S.A with a trunk of Model "A" Parts that i bought in U.S. went over to Canada and on the return i got pulled over and checked... I told the border cop that i heard to see the falls were better from Canada side... I had a bill of sale for some of the parts but not all. It took 1 hour....to clear ! Maybe a good idea for a flea market and fine point judging done on the U.S. Side and leave the tour guys to drive around Canada.

A flea market if planned. Lots of Canadians buy parts in the USA and don't have trouble bringing them back to Canada. Why should it be different going the other way?
