Default Fuel line suggestions, twin Holleys

I would like to remove my rubber fuel lines and go with copper for a cleaner, more compact look. I have seen compression type fittings which I assume are best to use? I want to get my fuel block off of the firewall too, I have a new fuel regulator and gauge as well. I have a stock fuel pump and twin Holley carbs on a Hexagon intake. I will put some pictures up later once I find my picture files. Thanks for help and suggestions.

Suggestion: Go to parts store and buy several lengths of 1/4" steel brake line and a brake Tee to fit that. Cheap, readily available, durable.
Buy 3 Weatherhead Ford nuts, possibly available right there, certainly available from Ford parts places.
Tee takes one end of your three lines directly as manufactured. Screw'em in, then cut a short branch from side exit of T to rear carb, bend and cut rear exiting line to fuel pump, front one to forward carb. D this on engine so you clear everything!
Open cut ends of the lines now take the Ford nuts and ferrules directly, and they are on their to stay once tightened up. Simple and clean.

Anyone have Weatherhead # handy?? 59X4 or like that?? Are they still out there, or do you need to go to Olde Ford store now??

Cool engine! Stainless would look sharp, will check it out. Trying to fit my regulator and pressure gauge might be a little interesting. Thanks

I'd do as Bruce suggests, but use a brass Tee compression fitting rather than a brake fitting. No real reason, but that's the way I did it. Uses the same 1/4" olives as at the carbs and fuel pump. Unless I could get the heavy wall copper pipe we have here (England) I would use steel brake pipe as per Bruce's suggestion.
