Default 1950 F1 Rims

Anybody make nice 16 " rims 7-8" wide without all those extra holes for different patterns, would just like ones with 5 holes for Ford. THANKS

The F-1's used the 5 1/2 bolt pattern, different than a sedan. You would probably have to get custom made wheels to get what your looking for.

Stock rims can be widened.

There's a couple of options. You have your centers put in new rims or you can get new wheels from Coker or Wheel Vintiques. As I recall if you get new rims they will only have one set of holes with the 5 1/2 inch pattern.

I got a set from Wheel Vintiques with the original KH center,(5 on 5.5) 8 inch wide for the rear and 6 inch wide for the front.

They look great. You have solved a my wheel selection problem for me. Do you happen to remember how much $ they were? Trim rings? Hub caps? Thanks...jack

Thanks Jack, I got them about 10 years ago, don't remember what the wheels cost but they were reasonable. The hub caps ('40 Standard) and trim rings came from Bob Drake.

Jack, I'm in Odessa, about 80 miles south of Ocala. There are a bunch of "Flathead Guys" that live around here and we try to get together most weekends to play with Flatheads so, if you feel like taking a ride one weekend let me know and come on down.
