F-1 E-Brake Upgrade
Well i have to say in the majority of the trucks i've owned, none of them had a good working e-brake. To be honest i wasnt even going to put one on this truck! But i started thinkin safety and found a complete ebrake, cables and equalizer assy for a guy in Tx.pretty good shape to start with. Only had to fix the front cable and just cleaned up and painted.I finished up with the floor. I hear that some of these big V8 shows they inspect your car.Feels good to have some extra stopping if needed. Ken

Re: F-1 E-Brake Upgrade
My first truck ,50 F-1 didn't have a working emergency brake back in the mid 80's,when we built my 48 this go around, I had all the parts and had um working before my first test drive!! A lil extra peace of mind never hurts!

Re: F-1 E-Brake Upgrade
Did you use a stock e brake cable? How did it work with the 9" rear?
