Re: 2014 Central National Meet EFV-8 C/A
Hello again Everyone, here's some of what I got for you today...
Full disclosure, our Phaeton had headlights when we left the Quaker Steak & Lube, but in short order did not have headlights. After a mile or three of people flashing lights at us, we pulled over and borrowed a fuse from JM35 who dug through one of his toolboxes to hook us up. Not sure if we had a blown one or not (we'll test the fuse we took out in the morning), but we got the lights back on in just a couple of minutes, so we pressed forward on to the Tilted Kilt for a little viewing pleasure and additional beverage input. Earlier today I had donated my box of three spare fuses to another down on his luck V8'er, and don't you know it turned out that I needed them later in the evening. I know JM takes a lot of grief from the 'Barners, but there isn't a better road-buddy, hands down! THANKS JM! The rain didn't dampen our spirits. Tomorrow is show day. Oh, and we're really missing Frank Miller out here. He'd fit right in with our itinerary.

Re: 2014 Central National Meet EFV-8 C/A
Wow, looks like a lot of fun. I'm sure Ken , Carolyn and the crew worked hard to put on a great meet. Looks like Hooters is benefiting a great deal from the meet! If anyone sees a decent 40-41 pickup for sale (touring class type) let me know. I have a young guy out here looking for one.

Ken, Carolyn and many members of their regional group have done a fine job of hosting this meet.
