Default F-100 question

I am working on a 56 F-100, and have the front clip off. I would like to center the front wheels in the fender opening, but need to know how far to move the axle forward. Can anybody tell the exact amount to move it? Thanks!

11/2. The spring that they sell moves it 1 in. Still its a nice set up to center the wheel to better the look instead of Henry's design.
