won't start
took engine out re gasket it put engine back in and now I get no power to starter on mag or battery was told to re charge mag no idea how to do that some help please

As J Franklin suggested, charge the battery. Clean ALL of the battery cable connections really well - be sure all connections are bare metal to bare metal. Do not mess with the mag, it has no effect on the starter.

battery is clean and tight cleaned metal on ground have power up to the switch and wire block put in new switch checked all conections are tight starter does not even click

Did you clean the terminals on the starter button on the floor? If so try bypassing it with jumper cables. Wear safety glasses & gloves - there will be sparks! Again, the dash switch & the terminal block have nothing to do with the starter. The starter circuit is simply; Bat. to ground, bat. to button, button to starter.

did as was told and followed battery up to block and starter. starter only had 1.6 amps took cable off and it stared to buss looked aat starter post and I forgot to put washer on put washer on started right up
