Default Blueprint of model B' valve cover; dimentions?

Does anyone out there have access to a drawing of all the hole locations and measurements of a B' valve cover? Rather than buy a poorly sand cast-finned version of one, I want to machine mine from a solid piece of aluminum and make it unique to my own engine. Thanks in advance, Steve

Take the dimensions from your B block!

My direction would be to contact Bensen Library and purchase a copy of the B-6520 print.

Or just purchase a Model B valve cover gasket. For sure much quicker and cheaper.

I have a drawing that reflects the valve cover hole pattern. E-mail me at [email protected]. Jerry Hurt

That places the assumption the gasket is properly sized. Your point does have merit by using transfer punches to get something to work, ...and that may be all Steve is interested in doing. A saying we sometimes use here at the shop is 'It doesn't need to be Perfect when Good is good enough!'.
