Re: Stainless Steel Restoration: Who to go to?
Another place to try is Cambridge Chrome in Cambridge Ontario. $800 - $1000. Show Driver Quality. But not as nice as The Plating house. 1-519-658-6681

Re: Stainless Steel Restoration: Who to go to?
I have used Dorthy Nichols ( Cherokee Stainless Restorations)
423-472-7606 She did some Aluminum Mlds for one of my customers. The all turned out very well. Not sure if she is still in business but just a Ph call will find that out. |

Re: Stainless Steel Restoration: Who to go to?
Everything that Brent has posted about Doug's statements were verbatim what he told me on the phone almost a year ago. Our talk was lengthy and I have known him as long as Brent. Doug has had several hip surgeries (as I have) and they haven't been all that great.
He never eluded to anything like Mr Petes diatribe. Go figure I have only been a minor player with purchases from Doug but feel lucky to have enough of his product to restore all I have planned. Pete did have one thing correct! Doug said that split up and really beat up items will not be "show" but made very presentable. No one makes the welds "go away like they never happened". Not in the cards. Last edited by Bill Underwood; 12-05-2014 at 02:26 AM. |
