Another place to try is Cambridge Chrome in Cambridge Ontario. $800 - $1000. Show Driver Quality. But not as nice as The Plating house. 1-519-658-6681

I have used Dorthy Nichols ( Cherokee Stainless Restorations)
423-472-7606 She did some Aluminum Mlds for one of my customers. The all turned out very well. Not sure if she is still in business but just a Ph call will find that out.

Everything that Brent has posted about Doug's statements were verbatim what he told me on the phone almost a year ago. Our talk was lengthy and I have known him as long as Brent. Doug has had several hip surgeries (as I have) and they haven't been all that great.
He never eluded to anything like Mr Petes diatribe.
Go figure
I have only been a minor player with purchases from Doug but feel lucky to have enough of his product to restore all I have planned.

Pete did have one thing correct! Doug said that split up and really beat up items will not be "show" but made very presentable. No one makes the welds "go away like they never happened". Not in the cards.

Bill U. Like i posted it all depends on WHO. Yes Doug did slow down with his HIP REPLACEMENT [ almost a year ago] things change and sometimes you can't keep a good man down... Doug does have about 6 to 8 shells done in Drivers to SHOW. from $650. to $850. and one other thing i was with Doug about a month ago at his house and speak to him at least 3 times a week so i know what he is doing and for WHO. Doug got very annoyed when someone told him about ROADSTER / PHAETONS Stanchion and how HE[DOUG] was wrong about the bottom cups.... Doug all these years restoring this item from UN-RESTORED state for countless cars including my 3,, KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT ! He does not want to hear it from a restoration shop owner who probable never tried to restore one. Funny how they always found their way to Doug.

Is this referencing me? If so, I definitely do not have any idea what this is about however you have managed to single-handedly 'whore up' an innocent post that to my knowledge had no reason for you to even comment on.
