Have you check with Newport Engineering? They make a fine product and stand behind what they produce.

Thanks Krylon, went to their site but couldn't get a picture of the complete assembly with wiper blades. This looks like the top of the line in windshield wipers for a vintage Ford. Do you know if you can run just a single blade, am nervous about drilling hole in the roof for second blade.

I have a Mighty Wiper in my 36 coupe. Works great. One speed only. Only designed for one blade. Fits well behind the header panel.

Tom, question for you. With the Mighty Wiper is the problem of wiper wanting fly up on top eliminated while on the freeway? My stock type new Bob Drakes repos always want to up and over. Are you using one or two.

Re: MIGHTY WIPER for a '36 tudor?
Yup, it does "fly up" around 60 mph. I just put one of those picture hanger self sticking hooks on the windshield up wher the blade "parks". It's the kind with a pull tab to remove it.
It's been on there for over a year. |

The best wipers are non. Rainx works better than the small area the short wipers clean. G.M.

Re: MIGHTY WIPER for a '36 tudor?
I've had Bob at Newport build me a single side wiper for my deuce 3 window and PU. Yes they are the top of the line. Often copied, never duplicated!

What to do about the two holes for vacuum original wiper controls in the headers of 35-36s.

Re: MIGHTY WIPER for a '36 tudor?
I realize you asked about the Mighty Wiper, but below is a link to a comprehensive thread by HEARD about the NEWPORT dual wiper assembly he put in his '36 3-window. Sure does look like a good, well-thought-out unit, and Heard sounds like he's very happy with it. Click the link! DD
