vacum wiper
On my 1930 model A pickup, I'm trying to install the vacuum lines from the motor to the windshield wiper motor. I find that there is no hole in the rider side post for the line to come out, any suggestions? With everyone's help I'm getting it done. Dwight

Re: vacum wiper
maybe orig. it had a electric wiper? there should be a hole above the gas sed. bube for the brass fitting and a steele line connected to the top of windshield and another steele line to the intake manifold. rubber line across the top of the windshield useing two clips to hold it up tight. there shouold be a hole in the windshield for the hose to go thru. good luck

Re: vacum wiper
The line runs up the pillar and then hose runs across the header.
In the picture you can see the line going up and then makes a 90° turn. Bob |

From the Brass fitting on the intake manifold a steel turne coated line went to a brass fitting through the fire wall above the gas sed. bulb. From the brass fitting inside the car to a steel line again. The line runs up the pillar and then a rubber hose runs across the header using two clips to hold it up tight. There should be a hole in the windshield for the hose to go thru.
