Exclamation 1956 ford pickup vin tag location

I need someone with a stock original 1956 Ford pickup to tell me where the vin tag is supposed to be.I hear different things, glove box, pillar driver side.
PLEASE HELP.

Not sure about the body, my 48 had it on the drivers side hinge post, my 61 had it on the glove box door. Both had it stamped on the frame rail just infront of the passenger side front body nount. Very hard to see in both cases.

The 56's had it in the glove box.

The '50 model pickups VIN is attached to the glove box door.. The tag also contains info about the engine-trans-diff codes.. It is attached with special rivets.. Small aluminum pop rivets will do the job. I can get a pix of a '56 VIN if you need one.
