The Ford valves are shorter in the engine has valve rotators, which I recomend for longer valve life. also the Chevy vale are nice for high lift cams as they allow the adjustable lifyrtd to work properly, thes are usedon cams with higher than .360 lift. Now the 1.5 chevy valve also will solve some seat problems as well. As you can see some of us have had problems with the valves in different applications, ans have solved them in a inexpensive way. Now there is also a 1.72 valve, but we'l get to that on someother time.

I ment to say 1.6 valve, it's increased dimeter will allow you to repair a damaged seat.
