Default 32 grill and shells

I have the oportunity to buy 6 original 32 grills and shells from an older gentleman. they are in great shape. is there a large enough interest in these or would I have trouble reselling them. also what would people be willing to pay. I dont want to make a killing selling them but its a shame to let them go to waste

I seen someone list one for 575.00 but dont think he got too much response. I know I could use a grill shell but it is a 32 BB truck

I would like one just to hang on my basement wall but the price would probably kill me. I don't believe you would have any trouble selling them if they are in any decent shape at all and not crumpled up. Most every one wants three arms and four legs to own one these days for some reason.

Anybody that has a '32 needs a extra shell in case of a accident. HRP

Prices are all over the place depending on condition. I've seen them from $500 all the way to $1100 for just the shell itself. $1500+ for top condition ones with the insert, bezel, emblem, etc...

Real quality complete grilles with inserts and ornaments should exceed 2K in value. I guess beaters can go from 300 to 800 depending on quality. Often grilles are damaged badly at the bottom where they meet the frame, and at the bottom under the insert. Heres a pic of my collection, which I've had probably over 50 years. I have worked on lots of 32's over the years and I keep sheet metal for future projects.

I have been looking for a complete 32 grill but everyone is either hording them or wanting my first born to let go of one.
If anyone will sell me a good complete one for a reasonable price, I am in.
Thanks,
Rex

Reasonable price passenger, I know oxymoron, with insert I would be interested, but not for $1500.00.

I paid $500 for my last shell and very nice insert.

You'll have no problem reselling them for good money. $500-$800 all day long.
