Default sonic testing

looking for a flathead shop in west central illinois, or east central iowa that does sonic testing, my local shop doesn't do it.

You can get a gauge and do it yourself if so inclined.

You can get different size and configuration heads also so you can get in small ports for porting. You will almost never go through a port wall when using one of these.

Pete is correct . . . having the small probes that fit into the ports (while hogging them out) makes one a lot less stressed out! I've used them extensively for bores and for port work. I can sleep better at night as a result . . .

Make sure you always calibrate the unit on the block you're working with as a starting point. Also, they are not dead-nuts accurate . . . but close.
