8ba exhaust
i'm in the process of porting my exhaust ports and have a question. as you know, the end ports have an open space before the opening. i seen where ol ron moved the opening further forward and modified the outlet. i was wondering if maybe there is some kind of epoxy that could be used to fill in that space and make it a more direct shot? thanks in advance.

Re: 8ba exhaust
There might be some space age epoxy that will stand up in an exhaust port but it is going to be quite expensive.
I weld the edge of the port to straighten it. It helps to use an ultrasonic gauge when porting the exhausts so you can get the walls out to .100 thick without going through. Porting the exhausts all the way through the port takes a lot of time but is one of the most worthwhile things you can do to the block. |
