Love the curves on my '49 F1 - it all flows from tailgate to grill. Next pick the '36 ('Buster and Billie' movie pickup?) together with the 'attitude look' of the '55 and '56 F100's.

'66 F100 short bed flare side. Just sold it with only 65K original miles.
My new fave is a '50 IHC L 110 short bed.

47 cuz it belonged to Grandpa and my Dad and I worked on it together and got it running again when I was in high school. Now, 27 years later I have it belongs to me and I have it running again.

Hey LBs 37V8 Can you tell me what the color is on Nolan's 37. I like that and thinking about that color on my 37 next spring. I never met Nolan but I understand he was a very nice person. I did speak to him on the phone couple of times about 3 years ago. Anybody else got some good ideas on colors please post so we can see them.
Anyone in the Evansville Indiana area? Frog Follies this week end. This is a very good show. God bless all and be safe. |

Re: What's your favorite "peeekup" and why..
#1 33-34-wonderful trucks and have loved them since I was a kid. I inherited my Dad's love for the "A's", but thought the sloped grill on the 33-34's was way sporty...and, they had a V-8!!
#2 40-41-without question the prettiest trucks Ford ever built, and they drive sweet 2...handling and sterring quite superior to the earlier trucks. #3 51-52 - agressive looks and drives a bit more modern, a great truck, with lots more room. I'm fortunate to still own the '34 (Amos) and the '41 (Clem). The 51 went down the road some time back, but it was a 350/350 anyway! |
