40 Ford Headers
I have a 1940 Ford with 289/302 engine. Wondering what kind of exhaust manifoilld /headers will fit (problem is on driver side) ?

I used a pair of 65 289 exhaust manifolds. It is helpful if you can raise the engine about 1". The exhaust pipe will need to be only 1.5" in diameter. Or even better if you can oval shape the exhaust pipe.
I ended building a set of stainless headers during my rebuild of the car----that solve all the problems. |
