For Sale - Pair of Owen-Dyneto Electric Windshield Wiper Motors
These windshield wiper motors are Owen-Dyneto OD-C3 design. Per the Judging Standards the OD-C3 (closed car) motor was used from July 1929 to June 1930. Unlike most of these motors which have broken bases, the bases of both motors are intact and appear to be in good usable condition as can be seen by the pictures. One motor has the cover that I believe can be repaired with some work. I have not had these motors apart but they appear intact with all the gears included. One motor is missing the brush tensioning spring. Dealer prices for the following new parts: 1) OD-C3 Base (that need to be drilled for the gears) - about $110 each; 2) Fiber Idler Gear - about $25 each; and 3) OD-C3 Cover - about $86. The total dealer prices for just the new parts only is about $356. $165, free shipping via USPS medium flat rate box within the US, US buyers only. No Pay-Pal, USPS Money Orders only.
