Marv, we haven't tried to figure that out just yet, we're just thankful that it didn't destroy the cylinder wall... Mike to all the piston and rod assemblies home to clean them up, maybe this Saturday we'll pull that chunk out of the piston and try to identify it. right now it's classified as a UFFO, Unidentified Flying Flathead Object...

Hope everyone is enjoying the long holiday weekend and remembering those who have given their all for our freedom. We had a visit from my grandson, Evan, looks like he a natural when it comes to Flatheads.

Bill: Our little group, Alcovy Valley Regional Group, EFV8CA voted to make a contribution of $200.00 to the Walk. Check will be in the mail in the morning.
We challenge all other Regional Groups to match our group's donation.

Thanks Lawson, that's a good deed and a great idea to get other regional Groups involved in a really good cause.

The link to the walk in Vic's post above appears to be for the Springfield, Missouri walk. Here is a link to donate to the Massachusetts walk.

Gene, this is strange, the folks in Massachusetts, gave me the link I included in the post. When I click on it, it goes to the Massachusetts, chapter??? Ok, this is weird, if I click on the like that is in the email, http://web.alsa.org/springfield_walk, it goes to the Springfield, MA site but, if I copy and paste it from the promo, it goes to Springfield, IL... I don't know...??? But, you guys know that Bill is in the Massachusetts chapter so, when you donate, make sure you are on the Springfield, MA chapter web site.

Man, I hope the donations aren't somehow getting hoodwinked sideways to that creepy foundation we keep hearing so much about lately. DD
