Default From the NSRA MidAm Nats

I've gotten real bad at not taking many photos at events, but I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this '40 Woodie. Owned by Randy Young, of Newton, KS.

Acadia Green original paint, all original wood, hopped up 8BA, with Offy dual carb manifold and Offy heads, and a torque tube with a Borg Warner Overdrive conversion.

What was not to love???

That '32 phaeton beside it looks pretty cool from what I can see!

Bick,

You are correct, and I deserve a kick in the seat of the britches for not taking photos of it. Greg, the owner of the phaeton, has SEVERAL cool '32s. I think he brought a B400 last year, similar in style, and the engine was loaded with "go fast" goodies on it.

This phaeton had some extremely rare 32 Ford 18" wire wheels with adjustable spokes, a column mounted radio and a stock '32 Ford radio speaker, too. If he's out there today (it's raining here now), I'll get back up to where he parks and will take some photos.

I was bummed that I couldn't get any better angles of the woodie, but they had them parked pretty tight up in that area.

That's bad arse! I agree, I'm not very good about taking photos. That woodie is classic, a quality car to be sure. Now that we have digital, I tend to take pictures of the area I'm working on. Came back from the LA Roadsters show few years ago with nothing but tail light and rear end pictures.
