35 36 backing plates
I want to update my mechanical breaks on my 30 Vicky and have read that 35 mechanical brakes are an improvement. Can anyone tell me the difference between 35 backing plates and 36 backing plates. I understand about the difference between the wide five brake drums and the conventional 35 brake drum but are the backing plates and hardware the same.
Thank you in advance for any insight. Tom |

Re: 35 36 backing plates
Tom,
I've never had s set of '36 backing plates in my hands but from photos and drawings I've seen, they appear identical to the '35 bp's I installed on my AV8. According to this parts drawing they share part numbers as well. Possibly someone else more knowledgeable can verify. |
