What is fair value for a double-belt crank pulley for an 8BA engine? Pulley is in very good condition. I see them on Ipay for as little as $30 and as much as $275. I don't have a clue myself.

Any ideas?

I sold one ebay last week for about $40 as I recall. I have another on there now and it hasn't moved past $8. So, who knows?

I paid $35:00 for mine about three years ago. Reasonable condition.

Are you referring to the double wide belt pulley ?

Yes, I'm referring to the double pulley that accommodates WIDE belts.

texas tom the problem i found with all the used pulleys they cracked at the end of the keyway slot thats why i brought new does that help you trev

i think 50.00 is a fair price for one in good usable condition. they are referred to (in my neck of the woods) as a double sheaved wide belt pulley.

Wow! I guess I got a good deal two years ago when I paid $5.00 for one. I needed one for my 59 ab motor and couldn't find one so I bought the 8 ba one, drilled out the spot welds and put it back together as one for the 59 ab.

A pulley for 42-48 just sold on the auction site for $10. It's funny how sometimes when you need a part you can't find one for any price. Later on, they are available almost for free.
