1932 Ford V8 distributor wick.
I have removed the remains of a wick in the oil reservoir of my 1932- V8 distributor it is 5/32 inch diameter by 6 inch long, what can I replace it with? I would probably get away with it being exactly 3/16 inches in diameter.
It is coiled around inside the reservoir. |

Re: 1932 Ford V8 distributor wick.
Look around for wicking material for kerosene lamps...out there in numerous forms and sizes, string and flat forms. Try typing lamp wick into Amazon as a first shot.

Re: 1932 Ford V8 distributor wick.
You have to be careful about the thickness of the wick as fits into a grove behind the bush and sits behind the shaft, if you have it too tight it will not pass the oil.
