Re: New Cam to my Collection
Hi Tony
O T for a second, altho the 101 keyboard does not have a key for degrees, Microsoft gives us one in our operating system. Hold down the Alt key and type 504. As soon as you release the Alt key the degree sign will appear.° ° Bruce

Re: New Cam to my Collection
On some keyboards, Num Lock needs to be on (upper left of number keypad). Hold down Alt and type 0176 on the number keypad (number across the top will not work) and release Alt. Also on some keyboards only the left Alt can be used.
Num Lock on > Press Alt > type 0176 > Release Alt ° |

Re: New Cam to my Collection
Tony,
Is that cam a radius lifter profile? Sure Harvey had some track cams that were, Weber did too but with a 1" radius lifter. Martin. |

Re: New Cam to my Collection
Hey Tony:
I have one of these cams brand new in the box as well. Is yours ground on a new blank and not a regrind? Check out this link: http://www.midstateantiquestockcarcl...at_heads4.html There is talk of some roundy round guys running it with some success. When I found it years ago, I posted a thread about it. Someone responded saying they run this cam. If memory serves me right, it may have been GM, but I'm not sure. Best of luck, Tim Last edited by Tim Ayers; 03-02-2015 at 04:06 PM. |

Curious on your thoughts on this cam. When I first found it, guys on here weren't crazy about the specs. My thought was I don't think Crane would make something that didn't work. He was a real advanced opperation; especially for his time. I like it for it should fit under stock heads. Plus, from what I understand the dual pattern and different lifts have some merrit for its intended purpose. |

Re: New Cam to my Collection
At the same time I found the Crane, I found a Melling A200. It is a 1/4 & 3/8 mile track cam (full race according to the box)
In Opens 25 Closes 67 Ex Opens 65 Closes 23 In .322 lift Ex .322 Lift Duration 268 Ex 272 In This is also ground on a new blank and not a re-grind. |
