Default Deluxe tudor drivers seat

Is there supposed to be a block of wood under each side of the drivers seat on a 1931 Tudor? I have one on each side and just wondered and if anyone has a picture would appreciate it. Thanks

Do you mean where the seat rests on the floor? The seat should just have a metal leg with a pivot joint at the top for the front. At the rear the seat should rest on metal cups attached to the seat, if it's the same as my 29 Tudor.

The Deluxes did have a sliding seat that began being reproduced in the late 90s. It is a saw tooth design that turns a quarter turn( handle in front of the lower seat) to lock/unlock in the position desired, as the seat slides on a track .I never saw blocks but it might be a custom set up to stabilize the tracks or risers. The driver sliding seat is fastened to the floor and does not "roll" forward. Only the seat back tips forward, so rear passengers must enter on the right side. Carpets need to be made for the Tudor Deluxe exclusively.

I modified the stock adjustable assy. for my comfort, bad back! To the floor mounted steel slider guides I added tapered wood spacer blocks.
2 wood blocks 16" x 2" - tapered to 2" - 3/8"
1 wood block [front] for L bracket tapered 2 1/4" - 1 1/2"

I extended 1/4" mounting bolts of steel slider to 4" ,3" & 2 1/4" welded on
